Just Ask Joe!
It is important to have trust and confidence in your personal trainer. Its the only way to truly develop a relationship that will assist you in ultimately achieving your health and fitness goals. I have provided information about my passion for health and helping people, my background, certifications and professional competitions to help you get to know me better. I’m more than happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
Health, fitness and bodybuilding were all very important to me at an early age. When I was sixteen years old I started training in my parents’ basement. Shortly thereafter, I realized that this was my passion in life to not only continue to improve my health, physique and well-being, but to be able to help other people achieve optimal health and increased self-confidence.
Starting at the age of 17, I worked at many jobs in the fitness and health field. Working at various gyms and health stores allowed me to see the value in how health, fitness and wellness can do wonders for a persons quality of life and sel-esteem. In 2000, I graduated with a BA in Psychology from Dowling College in Long Island, NY and began my personal training career at Bally Total Fitness.
My Psychology background gives me a unique advantage in understanding where clients are coming from, what motivates them, what makes they think the way they do about health and fitness and how to influence their perception through coaching and information. I have been a Personal Trainer for over nine years and had the pleasure of managing a staff of over 20 trainers as the Director of Fitness, overseeing the development of workout programs and overall fitness development. I currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina and share my life with my beautiful wife Nichole, who is also a personal trainer.
My Personal Training Certifications and Credentials:
* ISSA Certified – International Sports Science Association
* AMFPT Certified – American Muscle Fitness Personal Training
* NASM Foundations Certified – National Academy of Sports Medicine
* Stretch Certified with Bally Total Fitness
* CPR and AED Certified
Throughout my career as a Personal Trainer I have also been active in bodybuilding competitions. Click on our Pre-Contest Bodybuilders to learn more about how I can prepare you for your next competition. Learn more about Joe’s on-line personal training program.

Excellent topics. I really like this. After long searching I found this online that, Personal Trainer in Ontario gets local Ontario residents into amazing shape with intense personal fitness training workouts. It’s important that you pick out a trainer that is certified in their field, one that has great motivational skills, and of course someone that has plenty of fitness knowledge.

I’ve been really depressed recently and I had been having some thoughts about my life in general. Because of it I was able to contemplate on a lot of stuff and decided that it’s time to make a change in my life.

Change is good. Focus on positive, the stuff that brings you peace of mind. Sometimes the journey getting to that place is rough, but it’s definately worth the journey. Hang tough, be strong, your path is a step ahead of you.
